Week 3 Completed

Today I finished week 3 of the Couch to 5k running program.  This week was much more of a challenge- both with the running and the weather (rain everyday- seriously).  This week consisted of a 5 minute warm up, 90 second run, 90 second walk, 3 minute run, 3 minute walk (repeat those 4 parts) and a 5 minute cool down for a total of 28 minutes.  Today I went for 2.25 miles with a 14:06 mile- which is definitely an accomplishment for me!  Bring on week 4!!

  1. Hi from ICLW! We are also suffering with MFI. So exciting about your couch to 5K. Sounds like you are right on track and doing a great job! Keep up the good work!

  2. I'm here from ICLW. Congrats on training for a 5K. When I'm not going through infertility I'm a competitive triathlete and runner and I know how much of a difference running can make in this experience.

  3. I've been wanting to do this so bad! Thanks for visiting my blog! I was a huge hiker but I noticed it threw off my cycles. My doctors have forbid me from running and just doing light exercise no more than thirty minutes a day.

I hate feeling so trapped and not being able to run! In the end hopefully it will all be worth it!

  4. Hello and a big congrats..
Thanks for visiting my blog and your comment :)

  5. Hello! Here from ICLW. Yeah for doing the couch to 5k program! It's how I go started a little over a year ago. I love running now! Hoping you will love it as much as I do.
