Today I finished week 3 of the Couch to 5k running program. This week was much more of a challenge- both with the running and the weather (rain everyday- seriously). This week consisted of a 5 minute warm up, 90 second run, 90 second walk, 3 minute run, 3 minute walk (repeat those 4 parts) and a 5 minute cool down for a total of 28 minutes. Today I went for 2.25 miles with a 14:06 mile- which is definitely an accomplishment for me! Bring on week 4!!

ReplyDeleteI'm here from ICLW. Congrats on training for a 5K. When I'm not going through infertility I'm a competitive triathlete and runner and I know how much of a difference running can make in this experience.
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to do this so bad! Thanks for visiting my blog! I was a huge hiker but I noticed it threw off my cycles. My doctors have forbid me from running and just doing light exercise no more than thirty minutes a day.
